Se non volete chiuderlo perche non lo spostate su off topic. Da un paio di post qesto thread non ha nienta a che fare con tuning meccanico e se non tenete soprattutto questo forum del tuning pulito da troppi OT in futuro sara una disgrazia provare a fare un search quando si vuole trovare qualche info. IMHO sempre

Ciao a tutti,non so se aprire un nuovo thread o postare in questo vecchio e "sgrauso" :) thread.
Posto quà,poi se volete spostarlo per me va bene..

BTW ..Ho il piacere di informarvi che la c2power ha già ultimato il progetto mr2 MKIII TURBO

Saranno disponibili 2 versioni : una di base "cheap" a basso costo e una "full version" che sarebbe un kit base + intercooler,CAI e lo scarico completo.
A breve anche i prezzi.

Ciao Cattivik, c'ho dato un'occhiata e una delle cose che più mi ha colpito è come si possa fare una modifica in due modi completamente diversi: penso non ci sia un singolo tubo/pezzo che sia posizionato nello stesso modo che sulla mia!!

Ho anche qualche domanda che, se possibile, mi piacerebbe tu girassi al "reparto tecnico":
- che turbina avete adottato? Non doveva essere una Garrett GT28R? Mi sembra diversa...
- mi sembra di aver capito che avete tolto del tutto il MAF. Lo avete rimpiazzato con un MAP? Ma la centralina originale con cosa la fate lavorare (valore fisso del "MAF" e modificate tutto con l'e-Manage? )

- ma il catalizzatore è quello originale della Toyota o un'altro?

Hi Enetec!

I'm the lucky owner of the nex c2power mr2 turbo. I'm from Spain.

Answering to your questions:

- The turbo is a Garret GT28R.
- About the MAF, I'm not sure, I'll have to ask Gaspar.
- The exhaust also has a resonator to keep it not too loud.
- The cat has been changed, is not the original one.

I hope I haven't misunderstood your words, cause I need to translate them first to English and then to Spanish

I'll keep you informed. There is a topic also in mr2roc and in spyderchat.

About the MAF: It's going to be in the same place it was before (but now will be behind the Apexi air filter instead of before the stock air filter box).

Stock has MAF after air filter box. But now do you have MAF after turbo too?!?

Hi,

You're right stock is after... Don't know what I was thinking...
But it will be before turbo for sure (Apexi filter is not going to stay in that position, it will be directed towards the rear of the tailight.

Enetec,

Yes we've located the MAF sensor AFTER the turbo. From our experience with the Celica, it is best to have the MAF sensor located as close as possible to the throttle body.

If you have the MAF sensor located after the air intake, then you would have un-intercooled MAF readings(inaccurate to the actual readings). Not only gives it better readings, it also runs better on idle from my own experience. I was the one with the first C2Power turbo kit and had 2 setups. 1 setup with MAF sensor after airbox and 1 setup as close as possible to the throttle body.

We will keep you guys updated!!! We should be completing this kit soon.

Una domanda da "profano": il MAF della MK3 é a filo caldo? Quanto dura un MAF messo dopo il turbo, come resiste alle temperature alte, al flusso d'aria compressa, allo sporco d'olio tipico dei turbo in determinate situazioni?

Enetec, illuminami, perchè sono un pò in crisi. Seriamente.

Appunto... i miei dubbi erano gli stessi tuoi. Da qui la mia faccina:

Io l'ho PRIMA del turbo. E' vero che forse "soffre" un certo "LAG", però la durata non viene intaccata in alcun modo così...
