| Hi my name is Marcello, I am a Canadian living in Italy. Is it true about all these problems with precats??? Mine is a 2001 with 8,000KM. All my friends in Palermo have MR2's with over 100,000KM without a single problem. What modifications do I have to do??? |

Hi Marcello, welcome here!
Yes, unfortunately it's all true! 
Some of our members have had their engine blown since of them and some more have saved it "just in time".
You can find a good discussion about this topic here and a "sharper" description of the problem here (look @ 2nd post on that page).
