domani cambio il cat "in casa" e non avendolo mai fatto volevo chiedervi se quando rimonto il nuovo devo metter qualche sigillante e pasta per scarichi sulle flange. se si dove la piglio

poi domanda un pò più ludica: volessi verniciarlo di nero come posso fare? esistono vernici termo resistenti in bomboletta lowcost?

è buona norma montare sempre guarnizioni nuove,le quali non richiedono nessuna pasta.
sconsiglio la verniciatura,cosa molto diversa rispetto la bendaggio funzionale dei collettori.

ma il nuovo cat è un ricambio nuovo/usato ? metti un metallico 200 celle ?

mi son accaparrato quello del buon utzrek (sicuramente ho scritto male)

ma ci son guarnizioni anche dagli attacchi del cat? pensavo di no..sta sera mi guardo il manuale d officina così mi tolgo il dubbio

ci sono le due ad anello lato collettori (suggerisco sostituzione) ed una ad anello svasata lato silenziatore (che puoi recuperare)

stai attento nello svitare e riavvitare la sonda

mi si eran rotti i precat 15000 km fa..per fortuna senza conseguenze per il motore non tanto fortunato è stato il cat

ho girato per un anno col cat svuotato e ora che ne ho trovato uno funzionante non me lo faccio sfuggire

DOMANDONA: se tolgo la plastica nera sotto il motore (non quella sotto il cat ma quella dietro che copre il filtro olio) rischio di far poi un guaio??? è molto più bellina tutta pulita senza sta cosa nera..
