Per i collezionisti di “auto famose” potrebbe essere uno tra i periodi più elettrizzanti mai verificatisi. Dopo l’Aston Martin di James Bond e la ECTO-1 dei Ghostbusters, è giunto il momento anche per un’altra celebre vettura di trovare un nuovo acquirente e, di certo, non saranno pochi gli appassionati ad interessarsene.

Negli Stati Uniti la serie Tv era chiamata “Knight Rider”, ma se italianizziamo il titolo in “Supercar” tutto diventa più chiaro. L’auto in questione è ovviamente KITT (acronimo di Knight Industries Two Thousand), ovvero la Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am near guidata da Michael Knight (l'attore David Hasselhoff) in numerosissime avventure.

L’esemplare in vendita è totalmente originale e, intestato agli studi cinematografici californiani produttori del telefilm, include tutti i fantascientifici sistemi elettronici utilizzati da Knight durante la serie, tra cui anche un radar anteriore, anch’esso perfettamente funzionante.

Il concessionario californiano che ha messo in vendita questa Supercar (è proprio il caso di dirlo!), la Kassabian Motors di Dublin, richiede 150.000 dollari, una cifra però destinata a salire non appena gli immancabili facoltosi appassionati di auto e cinema inizieranno a contendersela.

Ma quella che vendono è quella buona, o quella che usavano per fare i salti col turbo boost???
150.000$, al cambio attuale con l'euro, non son nemmeno tanti, purchè diano almeno 5 anni di garanzia sull'impianto elettrico
