Accontentati del mio inglese:

I don't care if your vote is not for Bush...this is a car site...

However, the word <<Fugaze>> doesn't exist in the italian vocabulary.
Probably it could exist in some italian slangs.
I can help you just if you give me the exact context where you've found this strange word.

Hey Killer, wow, I'm so grateful you can read and understand English.
Your English is very good.

I just mentioned Bush because I just didn't want you guys to think I was a dumb American, however, that might be too late.

This is where I saw the word fugaze.
http://forum.mr2.it/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=497&SearchTerms=pian,

Miky

Anyway, I want to know what fugaze means. Is it a bad word?
Is it offensive? How was the word used in this context.
Thanks Killer. And once again, your English is excellent.

Well, it was a misunderstanding
As i suspected, this is an italian slang, used in the north of Italy (Trentino Alto-Adige).

You've tried to translate the word "fugaze" with an internet translator but it gave you no reply.
When miky-mr2 has told you that "fugaze" means "focacce", you tried to translate this word, with the result of "seals".
"seal" is "sigillo", not "focaccia".
When you've posted your second message you wrote "sigilli".
That's why Mela called the neurology department.

However "fugaze" is "focacce" (plural form) ---> FOCACCIA.

Focaccia is the ancestor of Pizza, it was "invented" by the ancient Romans.
They used to grind wheat combing the obtained flour, adding water, aromatic grasses, salt and squashing it to make it thin, giving it the classical round form.

In the second half of '700 some bakers in Napoli started to add tomato and mozzarella.

The focaccia is actually very diffuse all around Italy.
Expecially in the north of Italy it's very good
It is served with oil, cheese, aromatic grasses and other ingredients (there are more than thousand recipes! )

(thanks to http://www.fuocoelegna.it/pizza.php)

"That's all folks"

See you and come to "Italian enchanted land" to eat as many focacce as you can

Step

p.s. the two "half face girls" in my signature are american

Killer,
Thank you so much for all your help.
I love focaccia. I used to eat it for lunch when i was a child.
So basically fugaze is a spin off of focaccia.

My friends and I use fugaze in a different context. We use the term as if you're dumb, stupid, gay or all the above.

I was curious to know what the true definition of the word is.

I will make the flight out to Italy one of these days, maybe on my honeymoon, who knows.

So, how is you MR2? Do you have many mods? I have a G35. The forum I subscribe to is, www.6mt.net and my motorcycle site is www. xtremehabits.com. Here are some pics of my car.

Anyway, I really do appreciate you helping me out.
Please visit the other sites if you have time.

Thanks!!!

p.s.
My fiancee says you are very handsome.

Killer, Jack and Iron Maiden...
Thank you for the kind words. I just put my rims on last Sat.
I'm very happy with them, however, I have some camber problems in the front tire.

Hey, I'd like to see you guys on 6mt.net. Please stop by soon.

Killer, thank you again for all your help. I'm getting license plates that say "FUGAZE" on them. I guess you guys can call the neurology dept now.
