Really? It's funny...

As for the alignment, for the last 4 years I just ran factory specs for alignment. My tuner suggested the number that I am now using and I am very happy so far.
Today I test TiJey on the road I usually run. It was a surprise! Now the car turn and I have not savage understeer. Good numbers! |

Dario, you might want to look into this piece: http://www.full-race.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=858
Between that piece and my new alignment, my turn-in is much better. That piece also makes adjusting caster really easy. I think you lose a little weight with it too.
If you contact them, tell them that I sent you :)
Thank you Jeff, it seems to me an interesting tool. Unfortunately at present my budget for TiJey is near to zero euros
I think next modifications will be scheduled for fall. Thank you again! |

Hi Jeff, here you can find two clips of my unlucky day at Pergusa.
http://www.tij-mr2.com/clips/numeri.avi
http://www.tij-mr2.com/clips/duegiri.avi
In the first one some "number" trying to understand new Rotora brakes (by the way they're cool! ), in the second you'll find two laps of track.
Again I got a turbo boost trouble. Profec has setted to 1,2 bar max boost, but at beginning I was unable to get 1,0 bar. Lap by lap boost decreased to 0,6 bar. Surely this boost losse was from EGT thermocouple fail: it got out from exhaust header and left a large hole in its place... So I had to stop my race again...
Anyway I have to know why my boost is so low from start. It's second time I lose a lot of power due to unexpected low boost... |

Great videos! thanks for sharing them.
Do you have an external or internal wastegate?
Also, you can get a wide-angle adapter that will fit onto the lens of your video camera. It shows a lot more in the image (you can see your steering wheel & shifter). They look like this: http://www.raynox.co.jp/comparison/images/video/ring1.jpg |

I have a TiAl 38mm wastegate. Today I repaired EGT sensor fail and understood low boost response. Just I had to set GReddy Profec again after I removed turbo two months ago...
I don't know exactly what's happened, just I know before that work my LO setting was 20% duty cycle (1,2 bar) and my HI setting was 25% (1,4). Today I had to set a 40% duty cycle rate to reach 1,2 bar!
I like wide angle lens! I have to ask about price... |

Is there a chance you have a boost leak?
The wide-angle lens adapters are really inexpensive ($20-$25 US). |

Yes, I'll check better in next days. It could be a boost leak, but I read of guys with Profec setted at 40% or 45% to reach 1,1 bar of boost, infact before today I wondered about my low duty cycle numbers.
Really so cheap? Well, I can pay it... |
