Posted - 11 May 2009 : 14:27:29 Hi neighbours!
My name is Daniel and I´m a 24 years old MR2-Freak. I bought the MK1 7 years ago and did a lot of work on it. I think my MR2 is now in a very good condition :)
But Pics says more than words :D
Enjoy:

Best regards from Austria, Daniel |

Thank you very much for the warm welcome in here! :) I´ll check the date of the meeting at the garder lake..
@Claudio: I live in Feldkirchen - Carinthia.. Thats about 30km from Villach and 60km to the italian border :)
Last weekend I was in Italy for a shopping tour in Udine, but sadly without the MR2.. Its back on the road at the end of may.

Where are you from, in Austria? I guess I must be the one closest to you, living in Bolzano (Bozen, fuer die deutschsprachigen Leser)

Posted - 11 May 2009 : 17:17:41 Hello Toasted...
Very nice job, here in Italy it's very hard to see an MKI... hope to see you in our meeting in the places around Garda Lake... take a visit on our meeting topics and if you have some problems about the language i'm very happy to help you! |

Posted - 11 May 2009 : 15:12:17 I am also going to install a sebring exhaust on my car, with the difference that I own a MkII revision 3. I agree with you taht probably performances don't change so much, but what a sound! Yeah! |

Posted - 11 May 2009 : 14:53:06 Thanks Nick!
The engine is totaly stock.. I only built in a K&N 57i Performance Kit and a Fox (Sebring) Exhaust. I guess that gives no more power, but the sound is much better :)
Ferrari gear selector: I had really much luck with this part. I got the last one that was produced!
btw: I kicked the Raid Lesmo steering wheel out last week. There is a Momo Millenium now.
Ciao *proudonmyitalianknowledge*, Daniel :D |

Posted - 11 May 2009 : 14:35:40 Great job dude!
If I'd see your car from the front side for the first time I would easily confuse it with an RX Mazda or with a MkII either..
Nice and balanced exterior tuning, but...what's going on under the hood?
I also really liked the Ferrari-inspired gear selector Congratulations and welcome to this crazy cage...
